Dancer - performer training
The training project of the Rosella Hightower International Dance Center (PNSD) provides for continuity between initial training and higher education with a common goal of excellence and professionalization.
Its wide artistic spectrum is based on the complementarity of classic and contemporary techniques to form multipurpose dancers in line with the current choreographic world.
Its main objective is professional insertion with an international opening.
To achieve this, the PNSD develops close and constant links with the regional professional world, in France and worldwide.
The PNSD pays particular attention to the health of young dancers, integrating health and well-being issues within its pedagogical programs and structures.
Dance-Study Cycle (11-16 years)
The "Dance-Study" cycle allows school studies to be harmoniously combined with a complete artistic training starting from the sixth grade up to the last year of high school (High School Diploma – Baccalauréat Diploma). All courses are dispensed on campus.
Dance training is based on the complementarity of classical and contemporary techniques. This training is completed by the theoretical teachings of music, anatomy, history of dance and choreographic culture.

Upper Dacing Study Cycle - Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel (DNSP) (16-21 years)
The main purpose is to develop the personal artistic dancer-performer profile in order to obtain the best competence in classical and contemporary techniques, thanks to the numerous artistic and professional simulations.
This three years study cycle aims to obtain the DNSP, as a dancer throughout a complete artistic training enriched by artistic and theoretical contributions, and meantime the three-year Bachelor’s degree in Ingemedia Faculty at the University of Toulon.
The last year of this study cycle (Class DNSP 3) is designed according to two different plans between which students can choose according to their professional project.
· Cannes Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower : a junior company that allows students to complete their training by facing conditions similar to those of a professional company;
· One year of apprenticeship in a dance company : the apprenticeship device involves alternating periods of training at the PNSD and periods of immersion in a professional dance company. Starting from the 2019/2020 academic year, the DNSP program will be open to ERASMUS + IN and OUT exchanges
